Rocky Knoll/Evercare Memory Walk A Success!
Thank you to family and friends who all walked. We raised $367 for the Alzheimer's Association. Thank you to Evercare for the t-shirts - the sea of red walking the path was awesome. The Life Enrichment Dept will be walking 74 times around the walking path. Needless to say they didn't accomplish the day of the walk due to the heat and humidity but will be when the fall weather is here.

Volunteer Opportunities
Friendly Visitor Program - flexible schedule, visit 1-2 residents, once aweek or every two weeks, bring "joy" to another.
Bingo Helpers - flexible schedule - any Saturday morning. Arrive at 9am. Assist with helping others get to/from bingo(optional) and assist those in need of help to play bingo.
Beauty Shop Transportation - every other Wednesday from 9am to early afternoon. Transport our ladies to/from the beauty shop. Must be able to push wheelchairs. Enjoy socializing with others.
Cobblestone Store Cashier - minimum committment of one day per month. 1-3pm. Sell items in the store. Good money skills. Enjoy socializing with others. Not necessary to be a Rocky Knoll Auxiliary Member.
Barber Shop Transportation - Monday only - every 6 weeks from 7:45am-11am. Transport our men to/from the barber shop. Must be able to push wheelchairs. Enjoy socializing with others.
