Michael Taubenheim, NHA
Administrator
As the Administrator, Mike initiated the vision to change the focus of the center and under his leadership we will continue in the direction of innovation with compassion. He was key in identifying the benefits of creating new clinical programming such as a dedicated wing for short term and outpatient rehabilitation.
Mike’s extensive background in health care, predominately in the private sector, has taken him across the country from California to Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Virginia. With each position he’s made a significant and positive impact for the companies and facilities he managed by enhancing the clinical services being delivered and the financial results of the businesses.
Originally from Sheboygan, Mike has been a licensed administrator since 1979. He holds licenses in three states and has been involved in the industry since 1974 when he began as a maintenance supervisor for a large Milwaukee based facility.
“I am energized by the challenge of reinventing this health care center. When I came to Rocky Knoll, I had a vision and, with the support of an incredible staff and forward-thinking County Board, I’m excited about the potential for an incredible future,” says Mike.
